How do you change it from Fahrenheit to Celsius?

change unit to m, like this, without the spaces:
http://  wxdata.weather.com/wxdata/weather/local/#WeatherCode#?cc=*&unit=#Type#&dayf=6

and under variables:
Type=m

This time the issue seems to be because of weather.com. I tested some cities in Germany, and they are not working. New York, Warsaw, Paris work; London does not work either. I have no idea.

Finally got it working. For people that need an updated weather.ini file, please see pasted file at http :// pastebin.com / i3g0ExU3 (remove the spaces)

Note: you will need to change your location on line 23 to suit your location. This is for Celsius settings - if you need Fahrenheit you will need to follow the previously provided instructions.

Yeah I can't get this to work at all....I've tried everything CoffeeAllDay said to do aswell as what whaleonstitlz said to do, and it's still completely broken....could one of you maybe just upload your weather.ini and highlight what needs to be changed for us to fix it and work with our variables? It seems like the creator of this skin has completely abandoned it, or something has come up to where they're unable to address the issues with it sadly....

Got it working. Follow CoffeeAllDay's steps to force it to use weather.com's api, then replace the 'Url' line with this:

URL="http: //wxdata.weather.com/wxdata/weather/local/#WeatherCode#?cc=*&unit=#Type#"

You can take the space out, the website thinks it's spam if I don't have it there.
I found this fix by copying this line from DINAJ2 (which I can't get working properly :( ) and changing the variables.

I must delete " sign from there ? and where i must to copy this ?
After this ?
[mWeatherRSS]

If you fill it in remove the #'s, those mean it's a variable.

Under [mWeatherRSS] there should be a line like "Url=blahblahblah.com", replace it with my line or comment it out with ';' and add my line. Follow CoffeeAllDay's steps and comment out the whole [MeasureWeatherRSS] section.

It's kind of funny but i can't do it :/ I changed lines as "CoffeeAllDay" like this:

In the [MeasureWeatherDesc] section:

    change Url= line to:                       Url=[mWeatherRSS]
    change the StringIndex= line to:    StringIndex=19

In the [MeasureWeatherTemp] section:
   change the Url= line to:                Url=[mWeatherRSS]
   change the StringIndex= line to:   StringIndex=17

But still don't know what to do with this
URL="http: //wxdata.weather.com/wxdata/weather/local/#PLXX0028?cc=*&unit=#C"

The Weather code and spot with Type it is good filled ? I must delete the " sign (quotation marks) ? Or do it something with Hash # ?

If You can pls paste your code or add media to comment OR If You have a time send me on mail all this file with weather.ini
My mail is my nick from deviant (mattzyd@gmail.com)

Yeah delete all the #'s so it looks like this:

URL="http: //wxdata.weather.com/wxdata/weather/local/PLXX0028?cc=*&unit=C"

If that doesn't work I'll paste my ini.

oh... Now works but I must change unit to degrees celsius
Thanks You

Ehh I feel so stupid right now

EDIT: Ok now it's everything fine !

IF YOU WANT CELSIUS !

   Here is space (You must delete the space after http)   There: Paste code of city (after Unit must be like this below)
Url=http ://wxdata.weather.com/wxdata/weather/local/PLXX0028?cc=*&unit=#Type#&dayf=6

INI File *delete space after http

Any way I can change the icon color of the weather? I can change the color of everything else EXCEPT that

:iconzsfwaw:

I've been trying to figure that out as well, I don't think you can :/....took a little bit of working around to figure out how to actually change the HEX codes for everything else so it would work (you just need to delete the # in front of it, so basically you would change FontColor=#ffffff to FontColor=BFB39 (or your desired HEX code color). You can also do RGB ie change FontColor=#ffffff to Fontcolor= 26, 26, 26 (and just pick your numbers)

However,  I have NO idea on how to change the icon colors, and I'm assuming because they're just icons you can't or we just need to figure out a command line to add that would force a color change.

You can use a photo editor and manually change the colors since icons are pictures generally in a folder with the skin. I used GIMP and it worked perfectly. You can use the hex value to get the exact color

Yep, the problem is that Yahoo started requiring authentication for access to their API's, which is where this skin was getting the temp and description.  The fix is to not use Yahoo.  See below for instructions on using weather.com.

BTW, completely separate tip, but I found that adding this line to the [MeterIcon] section was pretty handy:

              LeftMouseUpAction=["httpX://weather.com/weather/today/l/#WeatherCode#"]

(change the httpX to https -- I wrote it that way so the comments parser here would not reformat the text as a link.)  This will make the icon clickable so that it opens the weather.com site in your browser.

Cheers.

Could this skin be updated for Weather.com weather only? The Yahoo weather is all out of whack and isn't working for any skins :/

Looks like you can get it to use Weather.com instead of Yahoo by just commenting out the entire [MeasureWeatherRSS] section in Weather.ini, then make the following two changes:

In the [MeasureWeatherDesc] section:
    change Url= line to:                       Url=[mWeatherRSS]
    change the StringIndex= line to:    StringIndex=19

In the [MeasureWeatherTemp] section:
   change the Url= line to:                Url=[mWeatherRSS]
   change the StringIndex= line to:   StringIndex=17

Also, to select Fahrenheit instead of Celsius, add this line to the [Variables] section:
   Type=e

Good luck, it worked for me.
